does it know what is happening now? rather than what was expected to happen last night in the bulletins? Cause most weather sites show sun in Bradford, the evil muppets!

good point. it is as you have suggested, the weather sites are evil muppets. for live updates, the best method would be asking your fellow britons as you did. i the american am humbled and done now ;)

No rain yet in York but it is looking a bit gloomy.

Leeds is hot and cloudy. Bradford's probably the same. Although, last night on the way home, it was noticeably hotter in Pudsey than it was in Leeds.

"Monkeys in a banana warehouse? Sounds like a recipe for disaster! So if you want to keep your job as Supervisor, you'd better get your pet monkey out of the building before the boss arrives. Monkey Dash is a new two player strategy board game, designed and produced by British designer Rob Fisher."

I buy a LOT on ebay, esp. for hobbies that get my fancy. Buying from people who bought and didn't really use... so i don't feel too bad if I turn out not using them much either. Hopefully i will hear from them, but in the meantime I don't want to buy another tent just for a week!

The trick to ebay is to never buy a product that is just "buy it now" unless you just want the convenience. I have almost never seen a competitive price as "buy it now" (UK)

@groovegenerator I might have taken you up on this, have never been to Preston (or Morecambe, or Blackpool) but i got the call for my tent

warzabidul: I'm really tired. I can't take listening to nobel laureates anymore. Especially those that can't use a computer for their presentation. - http://twitter.com/warzabi...

I'm thinking "finally i can wear my summer clothes for once" but then I dont have to work - with most offices non airconditioned I understand the ones thinking "oh no"

maybe they'll manufacture a cold wave or food poisoning alert next, to sell summer newspapers. Oh, I know, beach health warnings will get a revival. Mark my words, you saw it here first

Classic Fm just gave me a hoot: temperatures will drop to "only" 15 degrees :)

- Greg GuitarBuster
I do! I have told R several times that my choice spot in the US would be S. Colorado, New Mexico or Arizona, Texas would fit well climate wise

Me and Magento are coming to blows - it's complaining about a "type" attribute but I have no "type" field in the database anywhere!
