I think they're slightly different things. The GoodReads iPhone app is a front end for the GoodReads website. This appears (disclosure: I haven't tried it yet) to be something rather different. I'm not sure if it actually interfaces with a LibraryThing account and whether you can add books etc in the manner one can with the GoodReads account. If it did both I'd have to admit to being seriously tempted. - JSLeFanu

I think it's called goodreads.com companion app or something like that. It's free and it's in the app store. It's not particularly flashy but it works. - JSLeFanu

yup I see it now, (people who dl'ed, other people dl'ed) I think hese would actually work well together then, as a foursquare + yelp for books thing :) - The Real sofarsoShawn

I don't have a LibraryThing account so I might hold off for a while. If you do try it out then please let me know how you find the app. - JSLeFanu
