If I'm understanding this correctly, it is an integrated analysis environment with workflows. I'd be interested to know how these differ from things like GenePattern and Gaggle, other than things like they probably implement different tools etc...

How's that for a paper idea.. highlight strength and weaknesses of Taverna, Galaxy, Worldbase.. at least most systems are moving to webservice-based analytical tools so those can be shared between the infrastructures.
