"Interesting. It is so important to regularly review your memberships because you are only permitted to belong to a certain number and several of them may have become irrelevant without your noticing. If a group is full of spam, just get out and look for an alternative. No one is going to see what you post because no one is looking. Thank you for pointing out the Corporate sponsored groups Stephanie. I had thought that groups were being marginalized by the newly robust news feed on LinkedIn but I can see where a good group can still be valuable. Yvette - you track discussions by email notification. If you are willing to get frequent emails from a particular group you can adjust your settings to receive email notifications for posts as they happen."

"I believe they WERE hacked. In following up on the Nox Solutions tech fiasco (Jon Stewart vs Bill O'Reilly pay to watch debate live-streaming failure) followed by Social Media failure to interact with angry customers, I first got sucked in by a spoof Twitter account that got set up. http://kauaimarketing.com/soci..."

"I actually thought you could hit "follow" on LinkedIn for ordinary members. I've seen it in group discussions. You wrote: "The {following} idea could be extended to normal users which would work in a similar way to Facebook’s subscription service, connect with those people you already know and those you’re not familiar with can follow you." I very much like this idea."

"On Google Chrome, when I click on the link in the first sentence to go to qub.me slash smartstream I get a warning from Google that the link is infected with malware. I also couldn't see it in search."

"My husband and I are tech support for my Dad. These days we use iPhone FaceTime for him to show us physical objects around him (have them toggle to the forward facing camera). We used shared screen through iChat with my Dad for years. Better than Skype screen sharing, iChat provided the option to offer the person you are sharing screens with control of your desktop. (history of iChat is on Wikipedia. I believe screen sharing was available in 2003). I am an active GooglePlus user and as is evident I am also a Mac girl. They do allow us on. Google "How to Pronounce Karaoke" and you'll see my Google Authorship at work. As far as recording hangouts, obviously Google is going to use YouTube, I think what you are asking for is the capability to choose from the great settings they have there: "unlisted" "private" and "public". Normally, after a YouTube is published, you can still edit the setting. Is that not possible after a hangout Glen?"

"Thank you Mo! It was fun to see the photo of RayJGordon and I at the Digital Hollywood poolside reception in your slide show. Appreciation to @LizHKelly for taking the photo!"

"Is there a way to mute LinkedIn network members who post excessively? Not for me, I don't connect to those kinds of folks, but one of my clients has a couple that are making his newsfeed cumbersome to view. If need be, we'll have to axe the connections."

"Dennis Yu. Excellent article. You are a very generous person. I look forward to seeing you in person soon at Digital Hollywood. On Disqus. I took a look at the reactions here. It was at 98 when I looked. A couple of tweets got repeated many multiple times and the tweet that brought me here wasn't there at all. I have Disqus installed on several of my own websites. On the newest one, Lindasherman.me, reactions don't show up at all. On Boomertechtalk.com they show up (so I am happy!) although in a different format from the one here on AllFacebook (with avatars and tweets show with roll-over) I would love to see reactions working consistently. (I realize you are at the mercy of Twitter)."

"BlogChat is always Sundays 9pm EST, be there Oscars, SuperBowl or Mothers Day. We found it too confusing to move it. There are always plenty of folks participating every Sunday."

"I think that there must be an insistance on quality content. At the same time, quality writers who increase the quantity of their posts have seen an increase in traffic, social proof (eg Facebook likes, Google +1's) and page ranking. Tonight at 9pm ET, there will be a Twitter chat on this topic. Lee Odden suggested the topic and tweeted this article. The Twitter chat is #BlogChat, hosted by Mack Collier. I'm a regular at these Sunday BlogChat's."

"Thanks Cedar. As with WordPress plug-ins, it is a good idea to not over-install Chrome extensions. If you find you're not using ones you have installed, you should remove them."

"Nice to meet you Chris. Sorry I missed you at NMX but I followed you here from ChrisBrogan.com. Now I recall seeing Chris Lema mention on Facebook that he would be meeting you at NMX. Good Chris company here. Kare Anderson (who spoke at BusinessNext/NMX) recently posted this article about introverts on her GooglePlus. Does this fit you? http://www.theatlantic.com/mag... You were commenting on an article about Vine on ChrisBrogan and the last reply was from someone who said they still couldn't find you there from your Twitter address. I don't see links to your social profiles here on your blog. I did find and circle you on G+ though and plenty of Vine links there (though not on your About page yet). Hope that helps!"

"Found this article thanks to Kare Anderson's post on GooglePlus. Nice suggestions from Rebecca and Dave. I have always found the case study question helpful. For bizdev positions, setting up a hypothetical sales call is very revealing."
