I would also like to have a bookmark button, but somehow integrated so I don't generate another FF item. It's always an issue of lack of semantic richness, like social network "friends" that aren't friends. Clicking on Like for me may mean "this is interesting to me" or "I want to bookmark this for later" or "I think this will be interesting to my followers", etc. - Richard Akerman
The same: I used it as a bookmark, even if I don't really "like" it, e.g., if I want to blog about it later (even if unfavourably) - Bora Zivkovic
I kind of have the opposite problem; I don't "like" an item unless I actually do like it or something similar. I'll follow a link, then forget to come back to FF and like it. - Christopher Granade
I've been collecting the interesting posts in a tumblr account. Not sure of long term stability but it lets me tag them. Its several mouse clicks though which is a pain - Cameron Neylon
One way to solve this may be to write a Greasemonkey script which changes all external links into links to a frameset (how 90s) with a narrow top frame that has the "Comment - Like - More" links intact. - Christopher Granade
If you empty your subscriptions in Google Reader and add all Google Reader Shared feeds from your friendfeed friends, then you get a really good news meme in Google Reader too. - Svartling
Might also try Feedly; it takes Google Reader and integrates social networking a little better with services like FriendFeed and Twitter. It also tracks your interests, pushes relevant content up, and suggests more sources. - Sean Clemmer
