Age is irrelevant. First gen Android and iPhone still get updates. With Nokia, even bugfixes require new hardware.

No, but I will gladly bet that the Droid will have more apps, and that E71 users will get the finger from Nokia for updates.

The retailer will unlock it for "should be Rs 500 extra, but rolled into the price of the device" as his offer. Mine works elsewhere

what is the point of nokia's clout if they don't make a device i'd want to use today? and what of the clout of developer support?

the Nokia 1200 series will sell even more. What's the point? They're not building any developer loyalty.

what matters is that without developer loyalty, they're getting pushed out of the high end of the market, the most profitable bit.

Switch to Android, guys. Nokia is still floundering. No point blowing your money on them.

Android is an open platform. The app market has no approval process and apps can talk to each other. No enforced style guide too.

Book exactly 24 hours in advance. no more, no less. Zainab tried booking for 10:30p, but they said they could only do 10:20p.
