As Eban Pagan said, find a niche where people are emotionally motivated (lots of pain, mad desire), where they are proactively looking for a solution (organic search) and where they have little or no other options. The number one trick to find such a profitable niche would be find something where demand exceeds supply. Its basic economics. Even when there is enough supply, some niches can be profitable if they are prone to repeat business (such as cartridge refills). - TrafficBug

The market tells you what they want, If you can notice peoples needs and wants your almost there, I feel the real key is to search out those things that make someones life better,Example of this would be stopping snoring , how to fix a leek.
