Just changed my FF to Twitter settings to only include posts on FF and not Flickr photos etc. They just made no sense without images/context on Twitter when redirected from FF.

If you look at my Twitter stream, it looks pretty ugly with the nonsensical Flickr/Zooomr posts going through via FriendFeed. Hopefully with just original FF posts redirected it will look prettier. http://twitter.com/thomashawk. Jake Rome was complaining about the FF noise on Twitter to me on Friday. - Thomas Hawk

It would be nice if you could append [PIC] or something when Flickr goes to Twitter from FF - Andrew Smith

I also think one has to be careful with auto posting to Twitter. It easily gets annoying. - Rutger Blom

Andrew, maybe. But the problem is that only the title goes through and even if it said [PIC] it is largely without a visual context. Especially in cases like mine when frequently the title of a shot really has zero to do with it's content, who wants to simply click through blind links? Hopefully my Twitter stream will make more sense now. Twitter could, of course, always post thumbnails like FF does, but I doubt that's in the cards for them. - Thomas Hawk
