Posterous continues to add great features to its service. I've already enabled Facebook comments on the podcast I run. Works perfectly.

"Very few websites take the time to address their readers about what they'd like to see in the comments. Some might have a comment policy, but it's buried deep in their sitemap or it's full of legal jargon, and in either case it'll never hit a reader's RSS feed or Twitter stream. It's cool to see a site plainly spell out some basic expectations, also noting some special features available (i.e. hashtags) that may empower the reader to interact with the community in a whole new way. Awesome post."

The editor in me likes to see how big websites make decisions about their style guide. This is a quick and interesting read, if you're into that sort of thing.

"I had a great Thanksgiving. This was the first time in 8 years I was able to spend it with my parents and sister. Usually it's just too much to make the trip home both for Thanksgiving and Christmas. But this year everyone came to me! If only my Seminoles had been able to upset the Gators it would have been a perfect holiday."

"I really like the way TweetDeck integrated the new retweet, asking the user whether to retweet right away or to add a comment (retweeting the new way or the old way, essentially). I hope other platforms add the new retweet feature in a similar way."

It's getting to be about that time of year. I resist listening to Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving. These will be helpful in a couple days.
