Dear GOP, I get it. You don't like the government regulating business. But guess what I don't like?: Businesses regulating the government. I don't vote for you because of what you don't like. I don't vote for you because of what you do. - http://www.reddit.com/r...

"Except they are against fixing health care, combating climate change, and Net Neutrality. Not exactly the kind of people that we want to encourage in Washington. Alan Grayson is armed with a razor sharp wit and uses it to fight for us and help solve our most pressing needs. I think he deserves the money far more than them."

"So you would rather the politicians have to resort to being funded only by corporations? The ability of the common people to become a powerful force of fund raising is one of the major game changers that happened in this last election. The internet allowed people to use their own money easily to help fund the campaign and help lift some of the influence of corporate money from the political election process. It was surprising last year, but I think the trend will continue to grow stronger and in a few elections time it will be commonplace for campaigns to be funded by individuals who want to elect the right person rather than the one who can gather up enough corporate money to get elected."

Sargos on Dear Reddit: My friend and I have been making a very clean and elegant RSS Reader, inspired heavily by Google Chrome. It's right now in "Alpha," so please take a look and give me any feedback! (Currently Windows only...) - http://www.reddit.com/r...
"Since you are using .Net, do you think you can set it up with ClickOnce? It would be a lot more convenient than having to download and unzip a file and then run a full setup.exe just to run a little RSS widget."

My friends and I went as Settlers of Catan for Halloween. Even though we had to explain it to pretty much everyone at the party, it was totally worth it. [PIC] - http://www.reddit.com/r...

@HaleyAFontenot Congrats! :) Any links to the recipe? Really good low sugar recipes are always good to have.
"My god, the ignorance is amazing. The Energy Grid portion of the stimulus was just started **this week**. A ton of money from the stimulus that goes into alternative energy research will not even be given out until next year. The construction projects are not completed yet and some haven't even started yet. The money for rail is still in the pipeline. The stimulus package hasn't even come close to ending yet and you are already calling it a boondoggle and failure. The little public secret of the stimulus is that most of it is an *investment* that will take years to pay off but will lay the foundations for bringing America into the 21st century. Just because they had to calm down foolish conservatives by saying we needed it for the short term gains doesn't mean that they missed their opportunity to fix our country. But on your main point, I agree with you that UHC would have helped a lot more than the conservative healthcare bills we have in Congress. That doesn't mean that UHC would..."
