Woah - it is VERY fiddly to set up though. Still not quite managed it.

Ed, okay, now I have a facebook profile and a new fan page (no un-friending backlash as of yet). Do I feed everything into the fan page and let it update my profile status or let it dual update my profile and my page? Is there any disadvantage to having ping.fm update my page and then my profile?
- Wendy Merritt
I was getting so angry reading this post. Just couldn't believe anyone still thought this way. And then I twigged... Brilliantly clever.
- James Ward
Oh trust me, you still encounter these a lot, that's why it is so funny - you have to laugh because you nearly pulled your hair out in real life.

Slide 3 cracks me up. You google "Beth" and then draws an arrow to her blog as the #1 hit. Right beside it is the green "you bumped this to the top" arrow of Google search wiki. Are you trolling me, Beth?
- Daniel J. Pritchett
Now that I've seen the whole thing I've gotta say that was a really sweet presentation. I like how you highlighted the amount of conversation going on around the various items you picked up on the web such as Flickr photos.

ooh, I really like slide 19. NTS: Google Neil Perkin

"About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn’t even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months." from Steve Jobs' Stanford University commencement address, June 12, 2005 was posted on Giz here http://i.gizmodo.com/5132479...

Am I the only one concerned the cancer may have returned?

@mona He said he had hormone problems and that they are more complicated than originally thought. That could mean a lot of things, but none of them are good. :(
- Neal Jansons
Wow - that's like porno to you Mac people, isn't it?
- Ciaoenrico
An analyst on NPR yesterday said she learned from doctors that a "hormone imbalance" associated with problems with the pancreas would cause the weight loss Steve Jobs has had. Of course, those doctors were speculating.
- Jared B. Luther
@Ciaoenrico No, we have pr0n, too. Maybe it's an attention-span thing... I have room for both interests. :p
- Neal Jansons
Mona - YES I think so too...sad huh?
- Susan Beebe
This fanboi is confident there will be a "second coming" of Steve Jobs.

Ha, great! I was asking just the other day what the results of this competition were. I like the sound of duck and hoisin the best. Or perhaps fish and chips...

FriendFeed is shorter and sweeter now - we got rid of the words the entry summary ("Bret posted a message on Twitter") and replaced them with a dash ("Bret - Twitter"). Easier to scan, fewer words, etc...
I love how FF just pushes out features once they are ready. A feature release mid-day is awesome

This is great, but did you change something on the API? My lifefeed crashed at the same moment: http://jesperlind.se/ Wait, now it's back. It was only down for a few minutes.
- Jesper Lind
It will take getting used to. Right now... not so sure.
- Louis Gray
It's been an hour and I didn't notice this until I read the post. I am not sure I read the text to begin with, just names and icons.
- Daniel J. Pritchett
Nice one, rare to see companies removing stuff thats not needed to improve the service. Great move! Thanks
- Scott Purdie
Definite thumbs down on this one. I liked that FriendFeed spoke in full sentences. This feels more like random tidbits strewn across the screen by some computer somewhere. Do. Not. Like.
- Scott of Two Countries
Love the information both inside the pdf and how you went about doing it. Must confess I tried speech recognition from nuance about a year ago because I hate typing, but it was very tiresome. Its great to hear they have become awesome. Definitely going to give it a try.
