In search of a more natural way of being through meditation, Art of Hosting, and social innovation.
Off to the Swedish wilderness for a week. Cool people? Check. No electricity? Check. Wide open wilderness as far as the eye can see? Check.
Hopped on the Schiphol train and ended up in Leiden. The good ol' switcheroo!
Talking with great friends after a long break feels like a day has not passed. Thanks for the chats!
Liking my chili con tempeh. Tempeh makes a surprisingly good minced meat substitute.
I love my life! So many opportunities and great people. The time of decision is near but for now I'm enjoying this blessed confusion.
A quick trip to the camping store and now all geared up for the Swedish wilderness in early July. Can't wait to get into the wild!

Re: Would You Answer an Authentic Call? - http://asmala.name/2009...
"Man, spot on! It's like a little voice at the edge of my attention going "Yeah, rest for now, but one day soon…" For now I'm still waiting for the final internal call, but I know I can't ignore it when the time comes." - Janne Asmala
@khailee Unplugging by posting on Twitter? Man… :-)

Barefoot running healthier than shoes - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home...
After some thought, it's only common sense that our feet work better without shoes since that's what they're evolved to. Still, an interesting read on just how *bad* normal shoes can be. - Janne Asmala
Fighting a cold. I wonder if nature would be interested in a bilateral non-aggression pact...
Seems like a caught myself a flu. Statistically unlikely to be *the* flu, however.

Google Wave, the future of the web? - http://www.techcrunch.com/2009...
This looks like a genuinely innovative product that could well spell the end for Facebook and other walled gardens. It'll be opensourced but I still feel slightly uncomfortable with how all-pervasive Google is becoming... - Janne Asmala
