My daydreaming usually involves trying to think up better ways to automate my work processes. Yesterday I realized I could shove a Marc file through the loader in report mode to generate a list of ILS system numbers to match them to.
one of the many advantages to living where I do. ;)

I don't have a KK in the area, but there is a local donut shop that makes donuts much better than any KK donut I've ever had. I think I'll survive without KK.

(good)local donut always best when compared to any national brand, but KK better than Dunking IMHO

i like dunkin just fine. good pumpkin muffins. and cheap decent coffee. the one by my office closed though.

*sigh*...want. I miss working near a KK...I'd go by on Saturday mornings and pick up a box of warm donuts for me&coworkers

We don't have that national chain, either. Actually, there are no national donut chains here and the Starbucks was one of the ones that was closed down in the recent downsizing. Thankfully, there are plenty of local options.

we have no DD around here. well, I think there might be one or two out in the PDX burbs, but they're too far away for me to try. totally agree that local trumps though. I'm just glad I can get Voodoo easily.

a couple of my co-workers were on a trip to portland recently and had some awesome local donuts. they said almost as good as top pot in seattle.

probably voodoo. or maybe sesame doughnuts. but voodoo is usually the one people find.
