Keboard and screen are personal taste (and how small you can go), but you have to make sure that you have a real HD if you have XP, and Atom. Flash SSD is too small, and any processor other than Atom is just too small. I use MSI Wind with 6 cell battery (although 9 cell would be cool) - you do need the battery life - Ian D. Nock

Can't go wrong with the Asus Eee PC 1000H or MSI Wind. If I were buying now, I'd look into the Samsung or HP. I like the layout of their keyboards. The Samsung has the best battery life. - Rodfather
