Jennifer wishes the rest of the summer was a carbon copy of today's weather (with brief spells a little warmer). Wrapped up the afternoon by having a bath in the back driveway with Tanner (hers: intentional, mine: fully-clothed collateral damage).
Jennifer wonders if she's the only one who feels very uncomfortable when a man flirts shamelessly & excessively while standing beside his beautiful wife and four young children. I'm no prude, but, ick! And why in the world is he flirting when he has a gorgeous (albeit a little shy) wife? I fully admit that I don't understand men....
Jennifer is officially FRUSTRATED with alternators. Picked up freshly-repaired truck in Belleville, only to break down on the way home, just barely making it to next dealership before it died again. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGH!!!!
Jennifer has a lot of kilometres to cover tomorrow and a lot of work to complete (courtesy of continuing laptop saga which messed with much of tonight's work plans). Gonna be a very long Tuesday.
Jennifer is fighting TO traffic on the way home from Tanner's vet appt, glad she got the all clear to resume walks & play (she was going stir crazy). Tanner got so excited when she saw Chantal (one of her favs from It's a Dog's Life, now working at Dr Scott Bainbridge's clinics).
Jennifer needs to stop turning the tv on for background noise while working from home....apparently the pond scum of society has a regular slot on daytime tv.
Jennifer is having a stereotypical single chick Saturday night....bad micro food and 'Must Love Dogs' on TV (possibly one of the worst movies ever in spite of John Cusack's presence and dogs in the title).
Jennifer thinks road music today is remarkably prophetic.... "I'm Sorry" (Tracy Chapman), "I hope you find what you're looking for" (don't know the artist), then, "Every little thing's gonna be alright" (Bob Marley). Spooky.
Jennifer is in the rental vehicle and back on the road home, albeit a day later. Weird odds...the rental is almost the exact same truck as what we were driving. Can't wait to pick up Tanner and get home.
Jennifer is thankful the car broke down close enough to a Ford dealership and a hotel with a vacancy (if it HAD to break down, that is). Wild Friday night in Belleville then off to the service department tomorrow morning at 8. Ah well, it could be worse.....right?
Jennifer thinks setting parameters for what goes into a SocMed 101 deck is about the most ambiguous task in marketing these days, akin to answering "How long is a piece of string?" 200 slides is bad, right? ;-).
Jennifer has an upset tummy. Must have been the salad I had for dinner...body is rejecting all those healthy veggies and grilled chicken. Knew I should have had the Double Brownie Batter Blizzard (the kind Cheryl serves for dinner at her house)!
