should release a lite version of this to test it :)

I have to admit, I took the gamble, and it worked pretty well with my 7 month old daughter Corey Corey L. Kliewer (202) 683-8119

If hip hop is all wil is into, I would consider it a compliment.
- Josh Haley
from iPhone
Hip hop, while not my cup-of-tea, cannot be blamed. It is possible to be artistic there too.
- Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
Of course. Didn't say it couldn't be artistic. i love some hip hop but someone who is ONLY into hip hop would have a hard time swallowing jazz. That's all I was saying.
- Josh Haley
from iPhone
You're totally right Josh. I'm not sure who proposed to this person they should try swallowing it. Random hilarity.
- Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
from iPhone
Haha, oh man, at least they're blunt and to the point. You know where you stand with hiphopwil :)
- Russ Sargeant
Sounds more like hiphopwil got lost on the way to YouTube.
- Anika
You should definitely write an atonal piece called 'Wow, your music sucks."
- surf guitar
Anika--YouTube comments were the 1st thing I thought of...even though I've not had much of that on my account.
- Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
from iPhone
If you made it an album cover. Hiphopwil would probably have to buy a copy. Superego would probably override his id.
- Eric Logan
Rob, I hadn't heard you guys before. I just went and listened to some of your YouTube stuff, and well, you guys are awesome.
- Kenton
I think the idea to make it an album cover was a stroke of genius. I'd go to his timeline and find the tweet then take a picture big enough and high resolution enough that you'd have a chance of making it fit the square format.
- Spidra Webster
Wow--I think this guy works at tweetmysong.com. It just get better and better. LOL
- Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
I went to school with quite a few twins and they've always had joint parties. Most of my friends may throw parallel parties for their twins, or even for kids born in the same week/month, but different years. I have a friend whose b-day is Sept. 29th. Her sister is 10 years old, born on Sept. 30. They still have joint parties.
- Anika
The only twins I know IRL are 24 yrs old and STILL have joint birthday parties.
- April Russo (app103)
we are approaching our twins first birthday. I don't see how it's possible to NOT have joint parties. you cant honestly say ok your not born yet, for today is your brother's turn. you go tomorrow. even if you wait later in the day. same day joint party..
- Jay Martinez
Anika, I wondered if by ten they'd want more differentiation.
- Micah Wittman
from iPhone
Sure, and they got it, which is what I meant by 'parallel' parties. Especially for boy/girl twins or for twins with vastly different personalities. One set of guy twins I knew, were like that. One was the out-going social guy, he was in most of my classes. His brother was the shy bookish type, he was my friend. Their birthday parties would at the same time, but the brother's was usually held outside, while we were inside.
- Anika
I'm a twin. We stopped having joint birthday parties at 18. Mostly cause I went to college far away and he stayed home. Heck last time he didn't even answer his phone for me to WISH him a happy birthday. Jerk!!
- Clark Baumgartner 蔵明 馬武刀
Not a twin but brothers are twins and also 1st cousins are twins. I always wanted twins. They wanted separate everything a lot sooner than they got it.
- Melanie Reed
April, I'd imagine for a number of twins who "put space" between the commemorations at a pre-teen/teen age gravitate back closer as adults.
- Micah Wittman
Jay, I understand your point. But, isn't it common for anyone to celebrate a birthday up to half a week early/late to have a party on the weekend - that kind of thing. I imagine for some multiples, it may be the same.
- Micah Wittman
I just wonder what the prevalence is among the two basic practices (separate vs joint) and how it changes or does with stage of life.
- Micah Wittman
Here's how it worked for us: We got equivalent gifts every time. If I got a blue shirt, he'd get a green one. I if I got Zelda 64, he'd get Mario 64, etc. We had two cakes, one devils food, and ones angels food. (I have always had darker skin and dark hair while he was pale and blonde, thus "Clark Dark, Dale Pale" it was the cutesy little rhyme everyone said). Even though we had...

Melanie, interesting observation - that's what I was wondering about.
- Micah Wittman
Clark, LOL, that's a great insight - thanks! Call Dale Pale this week, tell him about the Jerk! part, then tell him you love him (I have two brothers [plus a baby sister - used to be she'd kill me if I'd left out the sister part] ;)
- Micah Wittman
No seriously, it's not even right how awesome this is. there is no more awesome left in the world because this has taken all of it. every last drop.

We just heard a firework go off.... Uhhh... Wrong holiday, morons. (EDIT: Morons in America. Sorry, Canadians and folks from certain other places. Didn't know that there were Halloween fireworks. The More You Know.)
Sorry, just being randomly cranky. Random fireworks are just a little peeve of mine.
- Kamilah Gill
Where I lived in Canada, we had fireworks and bonfires on Halloween. I really miss it.
- joey
Ah, sorry. Per Jay's comment, perhaps we should Blame Canada? j/k
- Kamilah Gill
Some people would set fireworks off on Thanksgiving Day, if they could find any. In my younger years, I set a slew of firecrackers off one New Year's.
- John E. Bredehoft
People just set them off here for no reason whatsoever. None tonight, though. At least not so far.
- Alix Whitmire
People set off fireworks pretty much every weekend here. There are two huge fireworks stores within two mile of me. I have a feeling they do good business.
- Katy S
Harold's saying that there are laws against that at least in Indiana.
- Kamilah Gill
Hell, I hate fireworks even on the 4th.
- Spidra Webster
I'll tolerate fireworks on the 4th, New Year's, and Chinese New Year (and I guess, when in Canada, on Halloween). Professional fireworks can be beautiful and amazing. Home fireworks are more often just noisy and annoying.
- Kamilah Gill
The laws in Indiana were relaxed a year or two ago. It's pretty much a free-for-all around here. EDITED TO ADD: They actually changed in 2006. Here they are: http://www.in.gov/dhs... FYI: It opens into a pdf.
- Katy S
LOL @Jay. And even though fireworks are illegal here, someone sets them off at least once a week. Birthday parties, ya know.
- Anika
The one pro fireworks display I've seen that's really cool (and I seen Disney's a hundred times) is the Symphony of Fire where different countries design and execute a pyrotechnic display in the sky timed to music. I've only seen it in Vancouver (BC).
- Micah Wittman
Katy, Harold's clarifying that there are local ordinances in Plainfield, IN, against year-round fireworks.
- Kamilah Gill
Ah, that makes sense. That wouldn't go over around here. Steuben county has a lot of lakes and setting off fireworks over the lakes has always been popular. People did it long before it ever became legal. Being so close to the borders of two other states made it easy to get fireworks. There are still a lot of illegal fireworks on the 4th of July. At least, I'm assuming that there's no...

Fireworks Night and Halloween seem to merge here.

You mean using Google Sync? Not that I'm aware of, as you can only setup one Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account on the iPhone. However, you can sync multiple IMAP accounts (or you could setup mail forwarding / POP Mail Fetcher to download your email into one account if you wanted both to support push mail). And you could share your Google Apps calendar with your Google Account calendar so that they both get synced.
- Tony Ruscoe
Attempting to setup 1 account for business and 1 for personal only. i guess meshing the two together is my only option.

it was way early and we were in PuertoRico with the company I worked for then. Excuse the whacked out bunny ears, peace sign deal going on there.

I've been at my brothers' place this weekend. As I had borrowed 24: Season 7 from a friend at work we decided to watch the whole series this weekend. Does anyone else do this with season boxsets?
I thought season 7 was pretty good though it's still following the predictable pattern of get one big boss and another bigger boss comes along. But will very enjoyable to watch. Anyone else seen this season? What did you think of it? Interesting ending.
- Kol Tregaskes
I watched 5yrs of lost via netflix and abc in about 3 months does that count?
- Jay Martinez
It's pretty much the only way I'll watch a TV show.
- Anika
I've caught up on 4 years of The West Wing in the past 4 months ;)
- Roberto Bonini
Like Anika it's how I prefer to consume my TV, but that's just me being greedy. I have a number of shows I watch as they're released. As for 24 S7: I quite enjoyed it, but I'm a pretty serious fan.
- jeffscott
Every once in a while I'll do a full weekend just watching on series. I did this with The Shield and it was awesome!
- Jan Ole Peek
Went through ALIAS in a three-day weekend. I started calling myself Sydney.
- Steven Perez
I did that with Seasons 1 through 3 of 24. Not in a weekend but stretched over about a week per season. This was all while watching season 4 week to week. It got kind of confusing but it was fun.
- Got Love For DB™?
I've got Lost: Season 5 coming my way this weekend. It looks like it's only 17 episodes so nowhere near as bad as 24. :-)

I love IMAP and Gmail. I use it instead of the web interface for the reason that it alerts me of new emails instead of me checking (without installing more apps on my Mac).
- Michel
I have been using mail.app with imap and gmail since converting to the mac a year ago. Not had any issues with speed. There isn't any real tweaking that needs to be done. Here is a link to a blog that I found a while that helped me get mail.app to behave the way that I wanted it to.
- Ronald Hahm
Been using Mail.app with Gmail-IMAP for 15 months nearly. No problems at all. There are some recommended IMAP settings in the Gmail Help site that you'll have to set up within Mail's "Mailbox behaviours" setting, since Gmail's IMAP implementation is slightly different with labels rather than folders. I also use Gmail Labs' "Advanced IMAP controls" which allows me to only sync certain...
