@built What is it you hate about Java? Scala also supports compiling to MSIL (.NET). I don't know if that's better.
@built I agree with the Java "culture of overarchitecture" bit. I still think that Scala is an amazing language.

@built Yes! I'm part of a team at Corvallis Startup Weekend. We need customer stories for what people need. Site will be at hour.li #focus
@built I don't think that's possible yet! :-) Any other ideas (time tracking, meeting reminders, hourly billing etc.)?

@znmeb I'm sorry you can't do grapefruit, don't do double bergamot either. It has the same interactions.
@AlanCalvert Bergamot has the same effect as grapefruit does, but normally not as strong. Double the dose though... http://jburrows.wordpress.com/2009...

@dukeleto Yes, I love the omega constant. I sometimes wonder what the omega constant of our universe is.
@brampitoyo @skry @maxticket @strangeways ...that I have seen. I know that Prototype, Script.aculo.us, and jQuery all use feature detection.
I wonder if their feature detection is optimized and the enumeration available to the programmer. @brampitoyo @skry @maxticket @strangeways
@brampitoyo @skry @maxticket The page @strangeways gave (http://www.jibbering.com/faq...) is probably the best treatment of browser feature detection.
