@bschlinker tried buying a $60 usb 2.0 adapter from Fry's and it grey screen crashes the mac, is crashes faster if you use safari ;-(.
@kiasuchick i have PCs that OLD, i usually just put winXP on them, but i guess MS wants me to do away with old machines too, go Ubuntu!
do macs work with network bridges? not sure cause they don't seem to work with NORMAL hardware, that 80% of the world uses.
@heathervescent i went to 3 stores, 2 apple stores and both recommended a long cable to go across 2 rooms ;-( ! (not) genius
kathy's dual 800 g4 mac. it has usb 2.0, and all the modern things of a PC except the freedom to upgrade without Steve Job's permission.
The apple guy of course tried to convince me that mac products are easier to use than pc's. With a oc this would be easy.
Went to melrose mac and they said her mac was too old for wifi
Why I hate apple. You cannot just add wifi to an old mac, instead they recommend you buy a new mac at the apple store.
