coding would be easier if the room would stop spinning every few minutes. stupid antibiotics need to work faster.
Another dose of Gatorade-antibiotic cocktail. Much better today than the past three.
@bphogan wimps!
so apparently getting the flu shot leads to a never-ending sequence of colds. I think I just started my 3rd in the last 6 weeks.
imagine: no comment spam anywhere. it would be great, right? we already do lots of great things with software. why can't we solve this?
sketched out awesome-looking page design on paper for a couple days. coded it up. looks stupid now that's on the screen. stupid paper.
@MikeG1 that makes two of us :-) would be interested in hearing more about why it's not a good fit for you.

The Word by the Beatles is a great example of how part of Ringo's brilliance was in knowing what *not* to play. Great stuff.
mac wants to update some Java component, fine. but wants me to restart the whole machine? what is this, 1998?
can't find my good headphones. not a good start to the day.

@rbates can't believe some other manufacturer doesn't have a similar game. must keep looking. :-)
wha..? nobody makes the Simon game anymore (you know, 4 colors, you repeat the pattern)? Amazon has "collectibles" for $150?
earth to google calendar: "sports calendars" are no longer a "new feature", it's been there for months
I find it weird that rails apps do not use Ruby blocks. 3.0 will do away with the only famous blocks that are left (map and respond_to)
and so I wonder if the Rails DSL has gone too far; instead of allowing variance by block idioms, we have to resort to configuration instead
There's too much fascination with optimizing tests. Do the simplest thing and remember the goal is to write your app not a fancy test suite.
If you spend > 25% time writing tests instead of implementation code, either your test framework sucks, or you need to get back to work.
wishing sinuses were never invented. hopefully the hawks game tonight will provide sufficient distraction.
Watching Win7 demos on microsoft.com, trying not to be annoyed by how many clicks it takes to get to any real info. Trying very hard.
@seeflanigan just an iPod touch, actually. not ready to attempt AT&T service in Chicago, coverage sucks downtown.
@rbriank cbc app looks good so far, thanks for the recommendation
do NOT make users do ANYTHING that your APP should be doing: http://skitch.com/jeffcoh...
@fallenrogue I have the scorecard app already, but I just see scores and news... am I missing something? (I have the free version)
No free iPhone app to see NHL standings? or is the search feature failing me again
