Jeff, you're absolutely right. Its the arrogant lecturing and seemingly purposeful disconnect with the community newspapers are specifically charged with serving that is at the heart of today's financial woes. Newspapers simply forgot their roots and stopped having a conversation with those people. Zell may not be their Savior, but he certainly was not the cause of this. - Bill Gaffney
