"I love my Kindle. Many people don't know this but you you're given an email address (jeff@kindle.com) when you buy the device. Then you can email any ebook to your kindle account and Amazon converts it for you and it's on your reader 10 minutes later. The formatting is usually excellent! Since there's thousands of free ebooks online (such as Boing Boing's Cory Doctorows excellent free book called Content ( http://craphound.com/content...) You never have to buy a book from Amazon. Just like Vista and the Mojave experiment I think many people are giving the Kindle a bad rap without trying one for themselves.I agree the price is to much. I got mine for 250.00 by signing up for a Amazon credit card.
