Jeffrey is recovering from spending the afternoon at Christus Medical Center ER room... Nothing too major.. Now to see what the prescriptions do to me... :(.
Jeffrey feels like crap today... Hopefully just allergies. I don't want the flu... I don't want the flu... I guess I was around too many people this weekend at Wurstfest. :(.
Plan of attack this weekend: Alumni Band (but not marching - way too early...), jury-rig a solution to get the gate installed in front of the house, mow, and clean out the back storage building... Tomorrow: Small Group Study and bowling on Thursday...
Busy day today... Installed a garage door opener (with a little help from the next door neighbor). Weedeated... Now working on my gate. Having a relatively open weekend can be nice.
I sucked at bowling tonight... Oh well.. There are a few more weeks left. Wurstfest opening ceremony performance tomorrow evening.. I'll be the tuba with the ailing horn (my second and first valves are sticking like crazy - the second valve is slightly bent...)
Another week gone. I'm currently paying for the past week in what I think is a head cold... Back from Galveston and perturbed to not be going to NY later this week (perturbed is too nice of a word - but then again, maybe it is for the best with how I feel right now). The next two/three weeks are the weeks from hell around the office. :(.
Jeffrey is supposed to be on vacation this week, but I spent 8.5 hours at the office today and at least half of tomorrow at the office. At this rate, I won't be able to use the time up...
Looking forward to the weekend. The weather forecast for the game Saturday rocks (looks like around 70 at game time)... Thinking about camping Friday night with the low hitting the lower 50's - any good local suggestions, especially one that accepts a pet?
I also ended up learning Audacity this lunch hour... Amplifying down 4 dB, then Clip Fixing... The IPhone microphone is great, but could use a bit more dynamic range...
- Hurray! I cleaned the garage... Took three weekends to do it (it has been a wasteland for the last three years). Now I just need a garage door opener and then I can park inside. Woohoo...
