haha... i always thought jugs of milk were odd. i grew up with bags. i think it helps with freshness, you only have to open a bit at a time. - todd
From a home where my family can accidentally put a hole in a jug, milk in bags sounds like disaster to me. Can the bag withstand being dropped when taken out of the refrigerator? - Anthony K. Valley ©
Lis, yeah, shoko in a bag, I miss that stuff. - Michael R. Bernstein
We have bagged milk here in LA. - Anika Malone
Anthony, the bags are actually pretty tough. You plop one in a specifically designed pitcher with handle, cut the corner with scissors or "milk bag cutter" or alternatively chew a hole in it, then pour like you would a carton. - Andrew Smith
I always feel milk from anything else than a paper carton is odd, but that´s for another post (and another continent) - Thomas Bøhm
That's my milk, Dairyland baby!!! - Jeremy Campbell

I've never seen that on a store shelf, but even here in the US, it's the way foodservice industries get their milk. I guess there's less waste. - Andrew Villeneuve
A lot of people don't know you can by tomato paste in a tube http://www.theperfectpantry.co... (the norm in Italy for instance) Why not tooth paste in a can? It's all about expectations! (though some product container form factors do have marked advantages depending on what utility is measured). - Micah Wittman
@Micah - That's interesting, although at least in the UK, I see tubes of tomato paste all the time. Other than toothpowder in plastic tubs, I've never seen a teeth cleaning product in a can. - Tyson Key
@Michael, shoko was one of the best things Israel had;) - Lis Miller
