Place yourself in difficult situations that explore the boundaries of your limits. Make that important phone call, sit on a panel at a big conference, run a marathon. Push yourself, and take the leap of confidence that you can get to the other side. Once at the other side, you'll have discovered something about yourself, picked up a new skill, and you'll be even more ready to take the next leap. What leaps have you taken recently?

this recipe comes in at the perfect time because I'm here in Ithaca for the first time since graduation and the apple cider donut man was NOT AT THE FARMER'S MARKET! It was sad, indeed. I'm going to try to make some of these myself when I get back to SF.

Interesting experiment that allows you to blind taste test 3 search engines. Results seem to be pretty similar across all 3, just with different rankings.

this seems to be more of a flaw in their search system, not their tagging system. it's one of the things that drives me insane about delicious - being limited to one word tags means I end up with things like "imadethis" or "readthislater."
