Of course you can do it w/o Twitter, but business and jobs are about relationships and networking. Twitter/FB/blogs etc. enable me to have meaningful conversations with significantly more people. Anything that encourages people to take an ACTIVE role as parents is a good thing in my book. As a newish parent (3 1/2 year old daughter) I am still flummoxed at the lack of engagement of many other parents. Why have 'em if you're going to ignore them or treat them like luggage or feel they're a burden?
