Because of the place I work and the tools available to me at that workplace, I use SAS, JMP, Excel, and SQL Server to do most of my statistical analysis and visualization of data. SAS is the most powerful (but kludgy) tool, JMP is second with it's excellent interactivity in graphs, and Excel is third with less interactivity, but slightly more visualization customization options.
