@gilesgoatboy and don't forgot to click the Donate button?
@amynewell I like the agnostic approach in Rails 3 and was a big fan of Merb, but agree that people probably won't find a need to upgrade
@Hybernaut I was forced to use Windows as my dev environment for a while (Rails); I quit that job quickly
@bphogan or I would think so because it creates a new market of "update your Rails app to Rails 3 and pay me $100+ an hour"
@bphogan I posted a similar thing last night. Surprised at all the changes in Rails 3. Independent Rails developers will be happy, though
Photography is so awesome; if only I were better at it
Sounds like Rails 3 is going to create a lot of rework for old Rails apps, which is going to thrill a lot of people
@mattknox I'd have to see an example, but wouldn't that add significant overhead to parsing especially in MRI?
Watching the Colts not play for an undefeated season, and watched the Patriots pour it on earlier today. Sounds about right.
The UX of commenting on my blog completely sucks. Planned a UI redesign, but now may also need to fix a few other things
Wife bought me a 15 inch macbook pro for Christmas; somebody knows me too well.
@sereda I hope they're right. It's been 6 or so years and hasn't gotten much better, but I keep doing it
Writing blog posts and comments are so excruciating and time consuming for me, I wonder why I even bother to try.
@RobMcNealy sorry, I mean 20-40k a year income obviously :)
@jeremydurham sorry, I mean 20-40k a year income obviously :)
@RobMcNealy so you're in the 20-40k a year tax bracket? Just curious your definition of "affordable"
@RobMcNealy not necessarily. I want to make sure people have access to decent health care at affordable prices
@RobMcNealy care to enlighten me as to what *I* want?
@RobMcNealy @farvour that's what middle class people who've had health care all their lives say. Most people I know don't have healthcare
@jamis I hope this is the year everything is a gem that should be. The submodules hoops you have to jump through are ridiculous

@nex3 I think serious refactoring takes longer with HAML, and it's a lot easier to break structure and not realize it because of whitespace
The more I've used HAML, the less I like it
Going broke in 99cent chunks thanks to the App Store. I do love useful apps, though.
@lifo's tickle looks interesting; I'm looking for something that does the same thing with Cucumber stories + selenium. Know of anything?
Way too much snow outside. Headed out to shovel soon
I just scored 1007460 playing Phoenix Chicken. http://phoenixchicken.com
@reedsturtevant @jackbaty now I've got to find something more constructive to do. Happy holidays to you both!
@slewpop Nice! I will wear it with pride
