I didn't see this the first time round either (but it looks like I was in NYC when this was happening). I have friends who I knew before FF for whom friendfeed has allowed me to know better and there are folks like RAP, edythe, and MwM whose posting and conversation have enriched my life and ignited my imagination. How about video capture? A new app was release yesterday(?) called email walk. It starts the camera and overlays actual image with an e-mail writer. This allows you to compose an e-mail while seeing what the iPhone camera is seeing. Even today, there's a ton of textual information available - I've found items that I wrote on Usenet's predecessor back in the early 1980s - so there's the possibility that there will be some archives 30 years from now that will store a bunch of data from today.
