If you have free web texts with your current plan, and can code a plugin, my Tweet Tweet WordPress plugin can use those texts to send you notifications. So far only Irish mobile companies supported however, but it's not *too* hard to add new text services. http://ocaoimh.ie/tweet-tweet/
