Run old addons in FF3.5: Open about:config, right-click new boolean 'extensions.checkCompatibility', set false, restart.
Oh, nice to know - this is critical for web dev types. - Micah Wittman
But what does it do apart from stop checking for compatible extensions? Speed up? - Kol Tregaskes
does 3.5 break a lot of 3.0 addons? - chrisofspades
After using the trick, go in "Tools -> Add-ons" and manually disable the extensions that are marked as "not compatible" and you can make it without them (until they'll be upgraded). The trick skips the "do not load not compatible extensions" step, trying to load them *anyway* - Claudio Cicali ♋
thanks ... good share :) - Susan Beebe
tnx for the share. old addons might risk the running stability of FF. also if you enconter problems with tabs and navigation; uninstall all themes if you have any installed and disable all addons and restart of course. then enable the available ones. this fixed all 3.5 issues for me. - Özgür Köy
