Seattle. Can't beat combination of raw talent and cost of living
- Ryan Petty
Well, I'm not in the Web 2.0 business (yet), but if I were, I'd love to live in Provo Utah. Lived there for 5 years and loved it. I'd also consider Seattle. It's close to my wife's family and I love the weather (seriously).

I don't think there are many Web 2.0 businesses in Provo right now - any you can think of?

I am a homer, but I would recommend Philly. You are within good driving distance (< 3hrs) from NYC, Baltimore and DC. Boston is ~5.5 hrs away.

I second Des Moines, IA. You wouldn't believe how many Iowans are on social networks like Twitter and FriendFeed - and it's cheap

Mike, I've heard bad things about spectrum - that's one of my problems with Utah - every company seems to have a bad story attached to it, at least a lot of them

@Jesse. Compared to Seattle. Better weather. More affordable. Two other reasons: Booming tech scene and incredible quality of life. http://www.igniteportland.com/

gotta tell ya jesse, the snowboarder in me says you are right where you should be ;)

yo, jesse. i'm a spectrum-ite. pretty sure you have skewed info on the company (maybe one persons pov?). we're all about the people, the product, and the networking (you should meet robin rankin! ;-) and helpin' UT fix some of what i believe you correctly observe is lacking wrt webX.0 biz networks in the state. love the opp to change your perception of the co. we're doing cool stuff, not all of which is visible yet.

Jim, glad to see you here - I'd love to meet you guys some time and see what you're doing. I was only speaking what I had heard but that by no means means it's true.

Mike, that's why I'm here now - I see a ton of potential for Park City because of that.
