LOL, unfortunately it won't be commercial available in time for the election or for the fall 2008 shows. Apparently the inventor of the new black also holds the 2006 Guinness World Record as co-inventor of the smallest brush in the world

do they actually think it will be useful in apparel? I didn't see that anywhere in the article (maybe I missed it). There are lots of materials much blacker than the blackest clothing you can get, but they're mostly funky metal alloys that aren't very wearable.
