Nice guest post entry...i liked the fact that innovation was mentioned which is what the friendfeed team have been doing alot lately i.e. introducing "niche" topics aka. rooms etc - Nicholas James
Is Google stalling or inhibiting the innovation? If they can't do it (lack of bandwidth), don't even let others do it.. Acquire it.. Kill it. Before it becomes pain or yet another disruptive tech to deal with. A typical CEO stratergy? - Umesh Kakkad
Just because they are your friends doesn't mean you share the same taste in music. - Amit Morson
Last.fm still doesn't do a great job of helping me find new music despite the fact that it has so much data on me. The main reason is that it doesn't hook into all the other social nets to find out who my friends are and I can't be bothered to set up another entire social graph. Interoperability between the social graphs of these 'social sevices' is an absolute must. - Alex Gawley
Last.fm & Twitterfeed should be able to do this for you. - Roney Smith
Yes. And I agree with @briansullivan but also because it's less wasteful. There is generally no benefit to bottled water, only plastic waste and money spent. - nicerobot
I do not agree with Brian Sullivan(?) There has been poisin reports of nuts throwing it into the water. But thats just some of the cleanest water in the U.S. - Sweyn via fftogo
Penn and Teller did a whole show about this on Showtime. Tap water is regulated by thousands of EPA agents. Bottled, FDA one guy. - Bob Hires
Just got back from camping in Italy - they have taps all over the place in towns to get water. Why don't more countries do this? - Richard Bradshaw
Bottled water costs more than gasoline. That's a bit screwed up... - Andrew Leyden
for sure, and drink it only if you are in the desert with no other water source to choose from. Drinker beware! - Jeremy Campbell via twhirl
Yes. I do. But I go ahead and drink it. Beat back the dark gremlins in your head Kevin! - AJ Kohn
yes in india, my face turned white and the host noticed. He then shouted something to the "boy" standing in the corner and the water bottles in the room were replaced with ones that went 'click' - Colin Britton via twhirl
Do what The Queen does, use a British Berkefeld water filter. It can filter out just about anything evil. http://www.jamesfilter.com/ - klaatu

BTW Michael I am really digging the TCIT layout/design. Simple at its best - Akshay
If microblogging follows the evolution of blogs for the corpoate world, I believe branding and open standards will be an important feature to license the technology to corporations. - simonpure
Akshay, yeah I like it too. thinking of it for techcrunch too - michael arrington
TechCrunch being blocked in China by the "net nanny" is just so... childish. Don't they have more serious problems to worry about? Who are they possibly trying to protect with this one. Grrr. Back to the VPN... - sage brennan
this was a good move -- once I found out about Summize, it added a whole new level of collaboration on Twitter by finding ongoing conversations - Shawn Dahlen
Great to see Twitter realise the value in the archives... it's more than just communication. - David Sim
It's been a long time coming. I do hope Summize knows about scaling, and/or that it can lend some of its server juice to Twitter. - Brendan Cooper via twhirl
wow Meghan says she loves blogging about web sites she HASN'T seen before. Brilliant ! - Jimmy Gardner
1] The site is like an Etch-a-Sketch. 2] The tutu. Again with the tutu. We get it! 3] Treat yourself to the SNL skit that is the "Glamorous" lip-synch. ... I think I'll stop here. - Donna Mugavero
Kieron (the author of said article) is also the author of the Britpop comic PHONOGRAM, which you should all be reading because it's fucking brilliant. - Rantz Hoseley

Wow! Cool! Perfect for my daughter's flipvideo! got a link for this one? - Live4Soccer
Awesome. Considering getting one before I go on holiday. I don't know how much underwater filming I'd do, but I'm terrified of dropping the thing in the pool accidentally. Better safe than sorry. ;) - Jamie Clark
i would just go buy the Xacti waterproof camera. Its not that expensive, and its always a crowdpleaser at those beach parties I keep hearing about. - Schlomo Rabinowitz

I wonder if they ever fixed Super Cache. There was a massive security hole in it the last time I tried it, so I went back to vanilla WP Cache. - Evan Sims
