Bike pr0n: Swobo Crosby Bicycle
"Swobo now offers half a dozen variations on the urban assault bike, and with the cyclocross-inspired Crosby, it's getting close to attaining two-wheeled nirvana. A cyclocross frame makes a solid foundation for a student bike: It's light, tough, easy to carry and versatile. A cross bike can fly down campus bike paths, roll over obstacles like curbs and freshmen, or take you on after-class romps through nearby mountain trails. Swobo takes that insight and runs with it. In the Crosby, the company has built a buff-tastic, road-bikelike frame and added attachment points for water bottles, fenders, racks, cantilever or disc brakes, plus nearly any kind of cable you'd like to run. There's also a funky rear hub attachment that has vertical dropouts for easy wheel removal plus a separate, horizontal groove for the chain-tension adjustment critical to single-speed drive trains." - MItch Pirtle from Bookmarklet

Just joined FriendFeed. Setup was great, very straightforward, but then suffered from a 'now what?' moment. http://friendfeed.com/jmarx
it seems to be of more use to social media divas, but I've found some interesting things through it. - Joe LeBlanc

Joomla! Wins Best Open Source Project Award 2006 at UK LinuxWorld - http://digg.com/linux_u...
"What's sadder still is that it's mainly Joomla vs. Drupal users that get so nasty towards each other. The core devs from both projects talk to each other frequently and share a lot of good information. Of course, there's an occasional jab here and there, but nothing like the pure drivel users from both camps manage to dredge up in these discussions. When the Mambo/Joomla split originally occurred, the Drupal team was behind the Joomla team 100%. There's a long story behind all of that, but suffice to say, both Drupal and Joomla are huge boosters to the open source community in general." - Joe LeBlanc
