Well we have national saint's days- 23rd April for St George- but we don't do much on them; no real link to an event I guess. Some folk (usually those who want to make much more of St George's Day) want a Trafalgar Day.

Most private insurance follows Medicare guidelines. Hospital can only give cash discount to level of Medicare/Medicaid payment. We had to work out a cash payment plan for our Amish community, the legal team went nuts when we attempted to offer lower cost.

A good day, hospital blocking software broken (yeah) so full FF. Call from boss, she is blocking my schedule over lunch so I can travel to hospital for work evaluation. Only 2% raise this year but I am at max for paygrade. This means the 2% will be calculated and converted to paid vacation time. Yes! Still did not use the 57 hours from last year...

That's good that you received some kind of raise. We were told that because of the "bad economy" we would not be getting anything this year. So if the economy gets better next year I should receive double right? :) Not holding breathe for that one.

Thank you Haley crew!! I will be so crucified wearing a Cowboy's lanyard in Eagle land but I am soooooo looking forward to doing just that! Oh, btw, the bookmark is really a label for the friendship bracelet that Sarah made you. It's navy and white, the colors you said you liked. :) You tie it around your wrist and then keep wearing it until it falls off. OR you could use it as a bookmark. :)

Okay, first picture has to be the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims, found a short note my grandfather jotted down of month/year/place of where my father was stationed. Did some searches for Reims and can identify the cathedral now off to figure out second picture.

Yes, the first picture is Reims cathedral indeed. I went there two years ago and took pictures of the cathedral that exactly match yours. The second picture is very likely to be Nîmes arena (Les arènes de Nîmes) : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki...

The second is the amphitheater in Nimes, but the actual pictures do not show the three arches over the gate. They added a third set of seating rows, which covers the arches: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...

Thanks mr.-mojo. I was confused with the arch area and not seeing in newer pictures. Wow! I did find a few more of bullet peppered buildings, I assume the buildings are still standing. Will have to post those soon.

I have been invaded by needy, whiney, annoying and demeaning people load. I am trying to stay kind and patient but seriously, there must be a brain eating virus out there today. The test lasts 20 minutes yet you direct me to fluff pillows and whatnot as if you are on first class flight. *hangs head*

Had to search the archives to see when I had my cortisone shot in elbow. It lasted exactly six months and now the workouts are causing extreme elbow issues again. Seeing if I can get another miracle shot today. Back to just cardio and legs :( I want totally tricked guns by September!

Guess what arrived! The candle is perfect and the scent of Patchouli is one of the best I have smelled in awhile. Typically the scent is a touch 'off' but this is the real and perfect fragrance I was hoping for. Thank you Kamilah!!!!

I was voted to be Parish Council seretary, I did not apply for this post. Working now two hours on last meeting notes. This is more difficult than being secretary for the Religious Education Program. Eek, I am only halfway through sorting notes and condensing them to easy understand format. I promised to be finished with them today.

Sad thing I was there as a Council member, now new dispensation will have to be given for me as a voting member.Another council member kept kicking me when the topic of new secretary was being discussed as we both serve on the other ministry, I think I said an "ow" and they assumed I said "wow" and it went downhill from there ;-) Not liking web publication of my typed notes!
