I juust did something like mysql> DELETE FROM `v2_posts` WHERE `ID` < '[id < 2010 post_date]'; where [id < 2010 post_date] corresponds to ID
Deleted all posts prior to 1/1/10 & all cats < 100 posts. Now, the prfx_posts, prfx_postmeta, & prfx_poost2cat out of sync. Early 2x WP
MySQL Geeks! Quick ??? I'm uprading an old version of WP that had 250k+ posts. WP upgrade script can't do it unless I'm on a huge box (1/2)
Handy! -> DELETE FROM `prefix_posts` WHERE DATE_SUB(CURDATE(),INTERVAL 2 Year) <= `post_date` LIMIT 5000;
