Taxes aren't the problem. It is how taxes are spent. There is a class of people that don't have problems with taxes, they just have problems with how tax revenue is spent. That's why the all encompassing income tax is so painful. In California, 20/22 tax or bond measures passed. 100% the majority of the electorate wanted the additional costs passed to the public (2 didn't pass due to 2/3 requirements). I wonder if taxes would be easier to swallow if we knew exactly where the money was going. Perhaps we should government should give receipts telling you that your tax money bought, for example, a set of tires for a military vehicle. It is always painful to hear people claim that 'well, it's my money that's paying for X project, which I hate.' How do you know? Individual taxes are such a small share of the total, why don't individuals ever say - 'My taxes paid for {something-I'm-proud-of}.' I mean, it's arbitrary to assign your annual taxes to a specific allocation of the federal budget...

Note very illuminating - "As I say, I don’t have kids, and I don’t know what it’s like to actually face this decision." But I share the concerns.

We travel a lot. I'll be up in Roseville working the whole time I'm here. Won't be able to make it down to the south bay, unfortunately. Nothing planning until August as far as the bay area is concerned.

Opt out? "You received this alert because you’ve shared your location with Peter using Google Latitude, and they have chosen to send Location Alerts when Latitude friends are nearby." Sounds like opt-in to me.

This is great. I particularly (much to my wife's chagrin) like point #3. 5. These Aren't Vampires. Or Werewolves, For That Matter 4. You Don't Subscribe To Tiger Beat 3. Bella Is A Spoiled Brat 2. Edward is Annoying 1. You Saw Twilight

PO Boxes have proven unverifiable and are called out as such. We're working on providing the right solution for businesses that need to hide a home address, however.

This is my first blog ever, saved before Geocities could balete it forever (from back when you could use blogger to post to geocities). I didn't change anything so prepare for some grammatical and spelling errors. The ramblings of a 21-22 year old are ahead.

“'It creates a business out of distributing movies made by other talented people, without committing our own capital,' said Mr Iger." It will be interesting to see how big movie production companies produce movies for the long tail.

More interesting to me is that this seems to contradict the early adopter we all expect Robert to be. What happens when he just gets too tired to use the second SIM to try out the new flashy device and operating system?

Just took me to the home page as well... if this requires you to friend Scoble to read it, then it's not really an effective way of sharing. If not and it's just broken then... well, also not so effective.
