Right, and a processing ninja is something very different to a knowledge ninja. The processing (filtering) problem is only one form of information overload. The other, and more problematic case for scientists is the spigot risk and related to it missing collaboration options. And no, I do not believe that I can fix this with smooth team communication, since we can not share all the same room, can we? - joergkurtwegner

The approach I have learnt to take is that you'll always miss some options, since there are just too many. The key is figuring out how to make sure you don't miss the ones that count. Don't have an answer for that. Reducing the processing overload does help make time for the spigot and mining it efficiently - Deepak Singh
