I am aghast and concerned about the firestorm over this situation. Motrin pulled the ad and profusely apologized. Was the ad lame and condescending? Yes. But I'm guessing a tiny but very vocal minority would have screamed if had been hilarious and thought provoking, too. IT'S AN AD. Not news coverage. Not a school lesson. And you know what? 90% of ads are offensive in their lameness. Guys are portrayed as stupid. Dads are portrayed as lazy. Kids are portrayed as airheads. There are much bigger travesties in life... like why would any sane Mom pay for branded ibuprofen?! :) - Adam Lasnik

How can we teach companies it's okay to say no, it's okay to have a respectful but disagree'ing dialogue? Or perhaps we social-media enthusiasts are blowing this incident out of proportion. Status: True -- This is a picture from an article called "The Rescuing Hug". The article details the first week of lige of a set of twins. Apparently, each were in their respective incubators, and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against hospital rules and places the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two threw her arm over her sister in an endearing embrace.
