Veronica, you are the first crossover (that I know of) of *famous* tech peeps that spend time with us in Friendfeed, not just importing, but commenting. For that, I must salute you! Arrr! - Josh Haley
Veronica has that mesmerized look, probably from the FriendFeed photo meme :) - imabonehead
Ya, FF is great, the problem is that I forget to actually look at my Twitter for things people post who are not on FF :/ - Socom
I applaud ARRR!onica for being "real" - that means alot...very cool! - Susan Beebe
Thanks a lot Veronica. Now I had to post a photo. And now I've gotta go and try to understand Anathem. Oh, and don't forget an hour long Tekzilla. You've nothing but trouble in my lifre! :D - ChiliMac

ARRR!ronica follows orders well. She avoids the plank. For now... - MG Siegler
By the way, looks like you've got an 80's valley girl thing going on in your shot. I mean it, like totally. - ChiliMac

Hey Socom: if you can't recruit some of your "high priority" follows over, just make imaginary friends on FF and add their Twitter service. I finally was able to remove all of my Twitter follows this morning. - Paul Reynolds
T'be sure, her 'spression betrays she's not yet see the horror o' the Akiva Meme Photo. She be not yet the shade of ghostly white nor does her mouth cringe in fear. - Brian Norwood
Cool, I shall look into that and also wait to see what MJC means in terms of soon :) you know, FF sort of reminds me of the old IRC days when ppl actually talked, and each topic is like a room.. ahh the memories.. well, apparently I have lost my mind, so now I am going to sleep.. almost 2am :/ - Socom
Without fixing IM and tracking, of course. LAME - Joe

A lot of people want the IM and tracking features. I know a few people who are going to different places because they don't have these features. They will lose more people because of not adding these features. - Thankful Molly
They got an improved design ready but not IM and tracking. That does not lessen the new design, does it? I really like it. - Alexander Kohlhofer
I like it better BUT where's the search input window, @twittter? - Jorge Escobar
Well it should be a hot girl or a girl you have serious feelings for other wise give me a video game controller or a computer to use while I sit at home. - Colide81 (James)
I am calling 911 as we speak. But how will they understand what I'm talking about? "Yeah, this woman cross-Tweeted to Friendfeed that she was gonna kill people." .... "Uh, cross-who-now?" - Eric Geller
Well I just read "The Zen of Zombie" so I can easily ignore your cunning flip-out ninja skillz. Of course I may end up losing an arm in the process, but Zombies care not for these things. - Haggis (Sean)
V, I think its good, doing some weird things however, like it has the same flash issue that Firefox has, so youtube no worky. Having weird Java issues with Facebook and I miss my addons. Its clean though, it seems faster, but, really I wouldnt say by much. I do like how it closes out the windows. I dont like how it handles popups. Course it is a beta, so have to wait and see. - Socom
Matt, spot on. Bookmarklets work, but there's no support for plugins/toolsbars at this point. I have already added bookmarklets for Google Reader and so on :) - Adam Lasnik
Yeah, the Delicious extension was one of the ones I missed the most. - joshua m. neff
The extension doesn't work but at least the bookmarklet does. Gotta have my delicious. - Kelley
Could it be Chrome is fast b/c there are no plugins active? - Keith McDuffee
via twhirl
Nope, that isn't why. It does multiprocessing and multithreading. In other words, it loads up more than 1 item at a time. - Ian Miles Cheong
Here's a reason not to use Chrome: http://tinyurl.com/63myff Google claims rights to ANYTHING you type in Chrome, which includes blogs AND emails. - Joel
Joel, it was a copy and paste mistake. They've since removed the offending text and put it in the appropriate area --bug reports - Ian Miles Cheong
Yes, but how does that make it better? Erm - it's ok because it was only they didn't get their documentation right? I'll wait to try it, thanks. :) - WorldofHiglet
I've put it aside but will be watching developments with interest. - Felicia
Gotta have my plugins, esp delicious and StumbleUpon!! Have to pass sites to my friends and get mine. So I'll wait until they can use those and stick with FF for now. - David Monroe

I thought I heard Leo say yesterday that he wasn't going to use Twitter anymore, switching to his http://army.twit.tv/ Congrats to Roz! - Nice Fish Films
Skype recently celebrated its fifth birthday which caused users to reflect on the recent changes that have taken place with the VoIP service. A recent surge in activity and a new unlimited international calling plan are things that bode well for the business. However, there remain a lot of complaints about Skype including problems with the changes made in the beta version of Skype 4 and frustration that SkypeCasts have just been dropped from the service. These concerns have many people wondering whether Skype will be able to regain the innovative edge that made it a leading product when it was first released or if number five is the last birthday that the business will be celebrating. - Leo Laporte
is there something better than skype to be using? I use it at my apartment because I get horrible cell phone coverage, and have been pretty happy with it. - Chris Locke
