@wilreynolds 301s to 301s are ok. HTTP 1.0 has a limit of 5 chained redirects IIRC (which is a lot). It's just slower.. What's the problem?

@wilreynolds Every redirect is a trip to the server (+DNS, if a different host/domain), so if you can use a single one, it's always better.
