"One explanation I've heard is that Blindsearch calls the US-based search web services so it doesn't return you the localized content that the search engines do when you access their sites directly from your location. I'm not from the US - would be interesting to know if Americans still get a different result."

"I don't want to point fingers, but when most people say "PC Gamer", I immediately wonder if they actually buy the games that they play. Yes this is a very generic paint brush and I'm sorry if I offend people. But consistently, when people visit me and sees the boxes of genuine games on my shelf they ask in surprise that I actually buy the games: "Yes, I do, I'm supporting this industry" Now if half the "PC gamers" do the same, perhaps we won't see the PC gaming industry dying off ya?"

"I'm assuming MGS is Microsoft Game Studios here Not sure what the PS3 reference came from. MGS definitely has the money to support good studios on new games, and the advertising to do it right. If they manage a few successful games games with MGS they can buy themselves back out too."

"I found it interesting that everyone bash with one hand the game developers when all they do these days is milk their franchises and stifle new originality. And at the same time as gamers we reminiscent the good old days and asking for a sequel of an old game. Whatever they do, it just can't seem to please everyone. Personally, I think I don't mind sequels, as long as they don't suck. It's like giving my characters new life and watch them grow."

"XBL demos are usually the full game but locked with a key. When you spend the MS points it pop the key in and unlocks the rest of the content, which you've already downloaded when you downloaded the "demo"."

"http://profile.myspace.com/index... ... Level 10/60/70 Elite Tauren Chieftain is a metal band of blizzard employees, they formed during Warcraft 3 and continued in WoW and BC. While they exist probably primarily to promote Blizzard games, they do have decent music. Blizzard has created in-game items specifically for them and has hosted one game concert in Blizzcon 07. I assume the items can be accessed via the WoW Model viewer which allows them to be cut into machinema. In between BlizzCon, these characters (horde) are visible on a balcony in Silvermoon and will respond to fan's /kiss /cheer etc. There was a children's week quest where you need to take a young blood-elf to see her hero guitarist."
