The stigma that goes with this illness is the problem. It effects peoples opinions. Those that have this illness are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act, but that doesn't mean people won't discriminate. CW - you're right about the stigma and it pisses me off. I've told my former employers (remember, I was a nanny) about my illness six months or so after I started working for them and most were taken aback because I'm "so normal." - Lis
