We are reaching out to you as a vital member of the computer science education community, to help get the word out about CSEdWeek and gather resources to communicate what computer science education is all about. ACM and its partners are developing a Web site, www.CSedweek.org, to serve as the interactive and central resource hub for CSEdWeek. The Web site will: * Raise awareness of the critical role of computing for our global information society * Promote efforts to expose students * particularly in grades K-12 * to robust computer science education * Highlight the challenges facing computer science education * Engage supporters to prepare students with the knowledge and skills they need for the 21st century.

The site will contain computer science education resources, such as posters, brochures, curriculum guides, data, and research. It will also house a social networking platform to share ideas and celebrate CSEdWeek at national and local levels* and that*s where you come in!

We are calling on you, and your students to upload to CSEdWeek*s social media sites pictures, videos and insights about what computer science education means to you. You can begin this process the week before CSEdWeek--to fill the sites with user-generated resources for the inaugural week*and add resources on an ongoing basis to make it the number one destination for computer science education. Please share content that displays effective instructional practice, engaging student activities, interactive lesson plans, and other resources that demonstrate why computer science education deserves the full support of policymakers, administrators and other important groups.
