@AliceBeal You're most likely to get re-tweeted at 16:00-17:00 on Friday afternoon for that very reason! #geekfacts
@Jakewk Completely. And it's important to remember than in building a house, there are lots of other tools required too. (@jowyang)
@technicalfault Thanks very much - written some horrors recently though! That's one of the better ones... ;-) Using Twiku for iPhone.
jtramsay: You know, there's a reason people accuse critics of writing for critics: they're the only people still reading the stuff! - http://twitter.com/jtramsa...
frankieroberto: Learning about alphabet collation. It's kinda interesting. Whether e == é is language-specific. - http://twitter.com/frankie...
@Jakewk I agree, but you still need to know how to use a hammer skillfully in order to build a house. (How fan can I take this metaphor?!)
stevepavlina: Leaving a job you don't LOVE is a NO-BRAINER and a NO-HEARTER. To unhappily stay is a STUPID and WEAK-MINDED choice. <3 - http://twitter.com/stevepa...
@mikebutcher I don't think you can dip in and out as with other services. It offers nothing to passive spectators - a bad thing for many.
iPhone apps old and new that I've enjoyed or been impressed by recently http://appsfire.com/selecti... With help from @appsfire.
#followfriday Anyone on my Favstar list http://twitter.com/Jonatha... People whose tweets I've starred recently: (fun) tech, marketing & meeja types.
GardnerCampbell: Online MBAs saw major disadvantage was lack of technological literacy--could have been bc these were older students. #lilly09 - http://twitter.com/Gardner...
techchuff: We wonder if the UK 3-strikes downloading law will be exempt for people downloading REALLY GOOD TV shows? - http://twitter.com/techchu...
DrownedinSound: So, Moby @thelittleidiot has 1million+ @Twitter followers. He posted a link to DiS photos. Only 41 click throughs in 2hrs??! - http://twitter.com/Drowned...

gruber: Got Chromium running in VMware Fusion. 15 minutes later, my wrist hurts (slow mouse), my eyes hurt (fonts burn). Really is just a browser. - http://twitter.com/gruber...
Both The Guardian and The Daily Mail (really!) lead with the same headline today "The great EU stitch-up".

@jeff148apps Sounds interesting, look out for my mail :-)
@jonbecker Do they think a keyboard is a magic shortcut to not having to think? Digital note-taking is just as important a skill, IMO.
Rain taps on window/Soothing me to sleep tonight .../Nature's own music #haiku
jonbecker: Well, laptop program parent input session was interesting. Some parents don't want laptops; want kids to learn "note taking and outlining." - http://twitter.com/jonbeck...
Discuit posted this to Twitpic, saying “It seems Disney have opened a takeaway in Anfield”. I love how so many dodgy kebab shop owners try to make their establishments seem bigger/better than they actually are - there’s one near me in Liverpool that rips off KFC branding but calls itself “Krunchy Fried Chicken”. It’s interesting to note aswell... - http://ashotofjd.com/post...

It’s interesting to note aswell that Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, not Disney, own the rights to Peter Pan, so the charity earns money every time Disney sells a Peter Pan DVD. (I doubt they’ll be earning from this takeaway though…)
@discuit Loved your "Disney" Twitpic earlier - tumbelogged it :-) http://ashotofjd.com/post...
@technicalfault I'm glad :-) Don't think there's ever been anything private about Twitter. Personal != private. (@jayrosen_nyu)
@jayrosen_nyu Personal to global.
In Liverpool's Korova, watching bands with @sentricmusic for the first time in a while. They're cooking noodles at the bar. Odd.
