Well this has kinda been a crap day so I'm gonna go now. We'll try this again later.
For the most part I'm a pretty open minded guy. I just don't like when people paint with broad strokes, making sweeping generalizations.
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 is clearly talking about consensual sex outside of marriage. Not rape.
Also quit throwing around that the old testament sanctioned the marriage of rape victims to their attackers. That's not true.
But if you are gonna characterize all Christians and/or all Republicans as wanting to control your sexual life, you're way off base.
Not sure why that idiot started talking about sex anyway during a political campaign.
