@BenedictEvans GOOG already made music play with iLike and Lala. it isn't technology or user experience holding this back, it's all legal.
Mail app for iPhone has only one fundamental flaw: it really sucks. at least it's better than the Calendar app.
Gmail app for Android has two fundamental flaws: reply/forward links only at bottom of messages, can't process Gcal requests.

side benefit of iTunes corrupting and then deleting all the apps and music on my iPhone... performance is a lot snappier now.
