@flojee Looks EPIC.

"We need to get bailing before everyone starts dreaming about how many more masts to put up." - @alexcruise [Wish this wasn't true so often]
@kjetilv Good interfaces are necessary but not sufficient. But yes, the parallel is better.
Good fences make good neighbors, and good libraries make good programs.
RT @felixsalmon: USCIS biometrics. No sign of huddled masses. [Me: They keep those in secondary.]
@mccv I wouldn't recommend it, though. In Scala, There's A Better Way To Do It.
@al3x You probably just forgot to shave.
@strlen Congrats!
@boucher @tlrobinson Old school.
@seanpile I feel that if they don't like it they can always unfollow me :P
@seanpile My personal friends complain about my technical tweets. My technical friends complain about my personal tweets.
@michaelg Erlang is lovely, but it can't run on my iPhone or my Droid or my set-top box or ... It makes no sense as a "portable" data store.
Fare hikes for the Muni monthly pass. Ditching the paper pass, putting some cash balance on a TransLink.
@michaelg @michaelneale Really?! I don't want/need my browser running an Erlang VM.
@thecoda what do you mean?
@kluo Tweetie 2 for iPhone.
Power outage. Guess I'm going home early today.
@thecoda Check out Git. It's based on immutable data structures.
@felixsalmon Lady Gaga better watch out! Your TV outfits might start upstaging hers...

For those following along at home, adding SLAs to a method's type: RT @eishay: Baking availability SLA into the code http://eng.kaching.com/2009...
RT @zephoria: U.S. gov't looking into open-access requirement for research it funds. See RFI: http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009...
:@eishay I think that's a really exciting&unexplored area of type systems. Not just SLAs, but performance in general.
@eishay Looks really cool. But in order to statically verify SLAs, wouldn't your static verifier need to know about, eg, parallelized calls?
:@eishay Haskell's type system, for example, can guarantee purity, but it can't say anything about run time or memory consumption.
@bobinator Ha! Remnants of the 19th century.
