"Though I'm supporter of Barça I must admit that Raul deserves to go. He has done great this year with Real Madrid, winning La Liga, scoring 18 goals and leading the team. Besides he has been Spanish team captain for a lot of years, and a player with his experience and leadership always should be in events like this. And I also admit that he has had a terrible last years, but not this one. Why is he out then? Bad relationship with Luis Aragones." - Jorge Vázquez
