No, but that's nothing as opposed to watching your 10yo offfspring attack a frozen can of Coke, thawing the solid ice block inside with her breath without spilling a single drop of it on the seat. I should have shot an instructional video, only that was quite a few years before YouTube came along.

Google sent me a confirmation email when i added a new address to gmail. It went to spam! WTF?! Gmail's filters a screwed if they can't even know their own emails are always valid.
I like some things about the beta, but dislike the lack of service icons, service filtering (?service=name doesn't work...), and a full list of my services. (EDIT: D'oh, I totally missed the Twitter-like permalink move.)
You can click on the "seconds ago" permalink to link to the entry. I'd like the service filtering too. EDIT: Beaten to it ;-)
- Larry Hudson
D'oh! It became more Twitter-like and I missed it. That takes off one item... Shall I edit the entry? EDIT: Entry edited. EDIT EDIT: Wow, for some reason my first edit took my emotions.state.xml file and edited it to include amusement.

I'd rather have an option to respawn at level 1, preserving current maps and inventory

As long as we remember to save often...
- Joseph Z.
Yeah, autosave and load last saved game might not be the best - might need to go back further in life than that to recover mistakes. Lots of incremental saves might be better, though more system-intensive.
- Jandy, ConcertMaven of FF
Yes, I suppose "load last saved game" came to mind for me only because I obsessively and compulsively save my games before making any major decision. But it's true, an option to load ANY saved game would be better.
- Brian Chang
The current methods of adding or removing people from friend lists is slow, and easily screwed up. Having the ability to see everyone all at once and check them on or off for a particular list would make managing friend lists much more easy and provide more utility to the lists.

More seriously, is there any way to report fraudulent users? That'd be a good step.
- Chris, Taskerrific Guy
liked this? I dont! I woke up and started checking my G1 and low and behold I got a message from myself bcultral. I went to spy to look up the posted link to[sethgodin.typepad.com] I sent the owner of the blog a email asking WTF
- bcultral
Well, it's more of an anti-like, really... There's no other way of saying that this is something needing attention but liking it and commenting, so I used what I had.

Yeah, somehow I doubt that Seth Godin of all people is going to start cracking Twitter and spamming people. Something tells me this is a third party who is screwing around somehow.

omg I need a bulk remove feature, friendfeed is becoming more and more flooded its ridiculous, it would take me all day to manually remove people from my home feed
As I am subscribed to more and more Friendfeed users, it's harder to keep tracks of things. There are people I care much about who don't share often, and their entries are on page 2 or 3 before I have time to read it. If I could organize my subscriptions in folders, one for close friends, one for family, one for heavy users, etc, and view these as subsets, that would make things a lot easier. At the moment I'm reluctant to add more contacts in fear of loosing track completely.
- Peter
Another solution to keep things managable would be to separate entries from comments, the way Swurl does, but that would mean a major redesign.
- Peter
hmm ... good workaround. Though I'd still like to be able to do it with the bookmarklet too.
- Nathan Rein
yes this is something I've requested before. Also be nice to post to more then one room at once.
- Colide81 (James)
ok, as I could find this suggestion already here, I'm not going to post it again... but I really want this : being able to post at the same time to my feed and to a room (or several) with the bookmarklet
- Philippe
yeah it would be a nice and practical addition to post the same link to different rooms simultaneously.
- sandhal
If the new item-posting dialogue is going to prepopulate the "http://" then for god's sake erase it when I focus the field. Nobody types into this field, everybody pastes, and the clipboard already includes the URL protocol.
Suggestion: Could we have a link on our feed pages that just shows what things other people commented on in our feeds? Like if I post something to my blog that then goes to my friendfeed and say people decide to like it or comment on it, I would just like to see all the things other people liked or commented on in my feed. Sorry for being...
I had a similar suggestion. I'd like to be able to filter my "discussion" tab to exclude all my own posts where the only comment is from me. Like, when I click the "Comments & Likes" tab, I don't need to see my Delicious bookmarks where the only comment is my own description of the link.
- Nathan Rein
"All that's old is new again... Last week, we wrote about a bank that brought back the shoebox as a no-tech organizing system for their time-starved clients. Now, one of our spotters alerted us to the return of the milkman. Delivering organic milk to customers' doors in glass milk bottles, the Manhattan Milk Company is reviving old-fashioned dairy delivery. For a USD 5 delivery charge, Manhattanites can get a weekly delivery of fresh milk. The company's driver loads up his truck on Wednesdays at 4 am and delivers to all of Manhattan, picking up empty bottles when he drops off the full ones. The milk is sourced from 51 Amish farms in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, about 160 miles southwest of New York City, and is also sold at the Batch store on 150B W. 10th Street." -- www.manhattanmilk.com

I wish this was available in Brooklyn, too. Maybe they'll expand.

“One more suggestion for FriendFeed - tagging. I want to be able to tag individuals, both in my posts, *and* my comments if I'm talking about them or something they might be interested in.” - http://friendfeed.com/e...
what would also be nice is for the comments of that plurk to populate here and we could have the option to have a reply feed back to plurk, like we have with twitter.
- Admiral Anika
People use to be *much* more... verbose or talkative (chattative?) on Plurk because of the conversation threads. I think just a proper link from the update to the Plurk page where all replies can be easily seen would be enough. I don't want to see all those long Plurk conversations repeated here. Did you realise they even have a mute button for each thread on Plurk itself? :) It would be like importing comments from much discussed blog posts.
- Rodrigo
but i the beauty is that i don't really follow the people i follow on plurk. well, not all of them. and the ones that i do, aren't very active on plurk.
- Admiral Anika
But you can always look for only some people's updates on Plurk and ignore the other messages, and you can do the same more easily here by receiving an update title properly linked to its page.
